RBSM funding initiatives

Here are our major initiatives to help support young researchers

Travel Grants

RBSM members can apply for travel grants to attend international microscopy-related meetings, workshops and courses.

PhD Awards

RBSM members that have recently finalised their PhD can submit their work to compete for the prestigious RBSM Outstanding PhD award.

Picture Awards

Every year, RBSM organizes a best picture contest, in which both technical and aesthetic quality are judged by the board and council.

Guidelines

I want to thank RBSM for supporting my attendance at the 16th European Microscopy Congress, which took place in Lyon from 28th of August to 2nd of September 2016. At this congress I presented my work ‘Determination of the platelet structure in natural diamond by ADF-STEM’ in the session of Structural/defects ... It was a great opportunity for me to learn more about new research, state-of-the-art techniques and instruments firsthand.
- Svetlana Korneychuk, PhD @ September 20th, 2016
